Product Description

Rated best calcium/magnesium supplement! IntraCal™ is a high quality form of calcium orotate and magnesium orotate. Orotates are mineral salts of orotic acid used to make DNA and RNA. They pass easily through cell membranes and in effect ferry mineral atoms into cells and tissues. Contains 90 vegetarian capsules.

What are the health benefits of Intracal

  • Provides superior calcium in an ultra absorbable form
  • Works efficiently to transport usable calcium into your bones
  • Calcium orotate is more effective than all conventional calcium salts
  • Contains magnesium orotate to assist absorption, regulate the nervous system, and support heart health
  • Made in the USA and Vegan Safe! Contains no GMO's, toxins, or gluten!

Suggested Use

As a dietary supplement, take 2 capsules 3 times a day or as directed by your healthcare provider. Keep out of reach of children. Consult your healthcare provider before using this product if you are pregnant or nursing, or for any additional concerns.

Ingredients:

  • Calcium orotate is the most effective calcium supplement. Research performed by Hans A. Nieper, M.D. has shown that orotates penetrate cell membranes to allow for effective delivery of calcium at the cellular level.Calcium orotate
  • Magnesium orotate
Magnesium orotate is the most readily absorbable form of magnesium on the market and can help protect you and your health.
  • Opti-MSM
Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is an organic compound with a reputation as a potent antioxidant booster that is believed to resist swelling and oxidative damage.

Commonly asked questions

1. How does calcium orotate differ from regular calcium? Most traditional forms of calcium are not easily absorbed by your body and are flushed out like waste! IntraCal™ is different because it’s highly absorbable!

Calcium is the most abundant mineral in your body and 98% is found in your bones. Inadequate calcium intake can lead to a loss in bone mass and a compromised and weak bone structure. IntraCal™ contains calcium orotate and is able to penetrate into your bones, cartilage, and other tissue more effectively than other forms of calcium. IntraCal™ promotes recalcification of your skeleton.

2. How much calcium do I need? In general, adults and teenagers can take 800 to 1500 milligrams (mg) per day. Women who are pregnant and breast-feeding need more calcium, up to 1200 mg per day. Children ages 4 to 10 should take a supplement of 800 mg per day. For calcium deficiency, servings may vary by individual. IntraCal™ is safe to use for teenagers and adults.

3. What's the best ratio of magnesium and calcium? While most combinations include a 2:1 calcium:magnesium ratio, 1:1 to 4:1 are also common. The goal is to keep the body from calcification (high calcium storage), as well as promote good calcium absorption in the body. While each individual may need a different mineral ratio for calcium and magnesium, in general, a 2:1 ratio us a good place to start. IntraCal™ contains a 2:1 ratio of calcium and magnesium orotate.

Calcium and magnesium is a dynamic duo that works to regulate the nervous system, maintain bone health, and keep good muscle tone. In the cells of our nervous system, magnesium works to block certain chemicals from entering the cell at too rapid a rate. Magnesium keeps too much calcium from entering the nerve cell, overloading the system and hyper-activating the nerve. Without magnesium, the nerves become over-activated, over-contracted and tense.

A Brief History of the Invention of the Orotates Used in IntraCal™Dr. Hans Nieper

IntraCal™ is designed around Dr. Hans Nieper's groundbreaking research!

Dr. Hans Nieper, a physician and experimenter, believed minerals in an orotate form pass through cell membranes easily without breaking apart and reach the areas where it’s needed most. The unique molecular structure of calcium ororate is able to penetrate bones, cartilage, and other tissue to act as a superior mineral transporter.

Dr. Hans Nieper’s explanations rely heavily on a theory called "fixed pore mechanism," which suggests attaching a carrier molecule, Orotic Acid (B-13), to the compound being transported. This research has inspired the creation of mineral chelates called orotic acid chelates (or orotates) which offer a 20-fold increase in mineral utilization.

Dr. Nieper often combined magnesium orotate with calcium orotate to achieve optimal effect. Magnesium orotate acts as a "transporter" to help push calcium more efficiently through your cells so it can reach bones, brain, and the cardiovascular system. Magnesium promotes the proper absorption of calcium by your bones and is vitally important for a healthy cardiovascular system.
