GAPS Comments
Zinc has a complex absorption mechanism and needs good stomach acid in order to absorb it. GAPS Patients almost without exception have low stomach acid so this needs to be supplemented with Betaine HCl or HCl and Pepsin. Sauerkraut with every main meal will also help aid in digestion.
