Green Pastures High-Vitamin Butter Oil is extracted from dairy milk produced by cows that graze exclusively on irrigated grass of the Northern Great Plains. The combination of climate and irrigation produces a rapidly growing specialized forage ensuring optimal levels of Activator X.

Dr Weston A. Price was a pioneering nutritional researcher who travelled the world during the 1930's and 40's, studying the health promoting nutritional practices of traditional cultures. During his travels, Price identified a potent fat-soluble catalyst found only in butter and organ meat from animals raised on rapidly growing green grass and in certain sea foods, such as fish eggs. Price called this nutrient "Activator X" and he soon discovered that it helps the body absorb and utilize minerals and plays an important role in rebuilding body tissue, teeth and bones. Activator X also is vital for the health of the brain and nervous system and for the production of sex hormones.

In addition to being a potent source of Activator X, Price found that butter oil was an exceptionally rich source of Vitamin A and other fat soluble vitamins, which he deemed a necessary catalyst for all biological processes. High-vitamin butter oil also contains the Wulzen Factor, or anti-stiffness factor, discovered by researcher Rosalind Wulzen. The Wulzen Factor is not present in the dairy products available in supermarkets, as it is destroyed by pasteurization. Dr. Price considered high-vitamin butter oil to have extraordinary healing properties, especially when taken with cod liver oil.

Important Shipping Note

 

 The fermented cod liver oil is extremely stable due to the traditional manufacturing process and does not require refrigeration until after opening.

 

 It is shipped to our supplier in non-refrigerated transport and arrives in perfect condition.

 

 The bottles are nitrogen flushed prior to sealing which removes all the oxygen from the bottle. This means there is no oxygen to make the oil oxidise on exposure to heat. Once the bottle is opened, oxygen enters and that is why it is best to keep in the fridge from that point on.
