This beautifully rendered duck fat is perfect for GAPS cooking and roasting. In particular it makes for the secret ingredient in producing the best roast veggies. Animal fats are the best fats to cook with because they do not change their chemical structure when heated. Natural animal fats provide all the right nutrients for restoring immunity, gut permeability and the nervous system.
This is not a certified organic item but the manufacturer is selective in sourcing their duck fat from ethical origins. Duck fat for production in Australia is limited, therefore after speaking to the manufacturer they had advised to us that this product has been sourced and produced from selected ethical Australian farms to keep up with demand but we can say they are free range and that some feeding may have been substituted with grain.
Australian grown and primarily fed a wheat-based feed.
Shelf life:
Approx. 6 - 12 months. Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Best kept refrigerated after opening to maintain shelf life.
